Elevating the Calling Experience
Recently, I shared my new vision of evolving the Calling experience from hearing to seeing and doing. It’s about bringing the power of the Webex platform together to enable Calling that can easily move into full-featured meeting or advance collaboration like whiteboarding. This vision appears to be timely given the accelerated adoption of video with remote work and distance learning. Over the last nine months, it has become the norm for loved ones to interact over video.
Imagine, using Webex to make a phone call to a local retailer, automatically moving into a full-featured video experience so you can see the product, and finishing off by completing your purchase. All of this, in a single phone call. Also imagine, your business offering video IVR to enhance your previous audio only menu – streamlining your customers’ ability to access the right person in your business faster. We’re also enhancing the hold experience, no more boring music, instead they would experience streaming video and voice ads.
These enhanced features provide a more efficient and rich interaction for your customers.
The new possibilities with Calling in Webex are endless and can expand across the 1 billion knowledge workers and 2 billion field and frontline workers today. We can evolve the Calling experience for retailers, healthcare workers, government, education, manufacturing and more. Changing the game of how we communicate with a simple phone call and evolving it into a richer and more meaningful experience.
I can’t wait to see how we help people communicate more clearly through phone calls on Webex.
